Blog | Coming up on Backdoor Quads

BackdoorQuads - CopyAs an independent blogger, I find myself in the rather fortunate position of having too many things to write about. Therefore, let me tease you all by telling you what’s coming up on Backdoor Quads in the next couple of months or so.

A view of the stunning harbour of St Julians as the EPT visits Malta for the very first time

On Thursday I fly out to Malta to attend the European Poker Tour’s first visit to the island nation. You can expect daily blogs featuring pictures and stories about my experiences. Hopefully you’ll also be getting interviews with some top pros as they take time out from their busy schedule.

When I return from Malta it’s straight to work. I spoke with Jason Somerville about his sponsorship from Pokerstars and how he has just started his 70 days of Twitch streaming. He was a really fun guy to speak with and I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about the interview.

I’ll also be attending the UK Student Poker Championships in Coventry at the beginning of April. Hopefully I’ll be able to talk to some of the players and to see how much poker is booming amongst the UK student population.

I’ve managed to arrange lots of interviews via Twitter, and I’m hoping to organise times to do them, and get them up on the website as soon after I do them. I have approached lots of top pros including but not limited to November Niners Jorryt van Hoof and Billy Pappas and 2003 WSOP Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker.

I’m really looking forward to producing more content for Backdoor Quads. I’ll be keeping up the Blog series, perhaps introducing a few guest blogs every now and again, and continuing to watch the site grow. Thank you to everyone who has read, shared and retweeted any of the articles I’ve written!
