It’s the morning after Team Italy’s historic victory over Team Russia in the first ever Global Poker Masters. But what next? Backdoor Quads spoke with some of the people who helped to make the Global Poker Masters such a spectacle and talked about the future of the competition.
After two days of gruelling competition Team Italy emerged triumphant in the first ever Global Poker Masters. The Team was made up of Andrea Dato, Rocco Palumbo, Dario Sammartino, Giuliano Bendinelli and Mustapha Kanit, who secured the third and final point which was needed to ensure victory.
The final of the inaugural Global Poker Masters will be between Team Italy and Team Russia. The two teams will play 5 heads-up matches between all team members, with the first to win three of them being announced the winner later tonight.
